Luxembourg Convention Park – perfect for your international business events
Luxembourg’s quaint cobbled streets and castles may give it a fairytale feel, but it punches above its weight when it comes to events and conferences.
The Luxembourg Convention Park, strategically located between the international airport and downtown Luxembourg City, brings together a diverse combination of services that cater perfectly to all types of Meetings, Events, Conferences and Incentives (MICE).
Close cooperation between the European Convention Centre Luxembourg, Luxembourg Philharmonic, the Museum of Modern Art, the Sodexo Group, and Melià Luxembourg and Accor Hotels means that the Luxembourg Convention Park can provide a unique and diverse infrastructure to cater to any meeting, conference or event you may have, however big or small.
Located in the Kirchberg business district overlooking the beautiful Pfaffenthal valley, the Luxembourg Convention Park incorporates a variety of venues for business events all within walking distance of each other. Five quality centres collectively provide a total of 68 meeting rooms with the capacity to accommodate 1,300 people for a conference and 2,000 attendees for a reception. The wide-range of restaurants and bars located in the area cater to every palate and all nightlife requirements, whilst the UNESCO World Heritage Luxembourg City centre is just 2.5km away.
Meeting or conference attendees can wake up at the heart of their event, with some 640 rooms available in four hotels (Sofitel Europe, Novotel Suites, Novotel Kirchberg and Melià Luxembourg) ranging from 4 to 5 star and combining modernity with comfort. If needed, more rooms are available just nearby in the City Center. For a taste of culture the Luxembourg Convention Park includes the Museum of Modern Art (MUDAM) and the world-renowned Luxembourg Philharmonic, one of Europe’s main concert halls, hosting international conductors and featuring some 400 concerts a year. History lovers will appreciate the grand fortifications of the Three Acorns Park where they can discover the country’s unique history.
Luxembourg’s airport has a number of direct and connecting flights offered by international carriers and low-cost airlines. The Luxembourg Convention Centre is also served by a new state-of-the-art tram and has superb road and rail links.
Luxembourg is at the heart of Europe, bordered by Germany, France and Belgium. A popular MICE destination already, international and European event organisers the world over can take advantage of the Luxembourg Convention Park’s unique MICE proposition, and add a little of the fairytale magic of Luxembourg.
